Terms of Use

The short version:

  • Every song on Otherbox is made by AI. None is by, or endorsed by, the artist you typed.
  • Otherbox is for your own personal listening in the app.
  • Don't download, sell or publish the songs, or present them as your own or a real artist's work.

These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and S-Block Technologies LLC ("we") for using the Otherbox apps and websites. By using Otherbox, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Otherbox.

AI-generated music

Otherbox makes original songs, lyrics and album covers with AI services from Google (Gemini and Lyria) and OpenAI. The artist, song or words you type only describe a style; we never send them to the services that write and record the songs, and no real artist's voice, words or recordings are used. Songs are labelled as AI-generated in the app. Artist and song names in search come from MusicBrainz and are shown only so you can pick a style; they don't mean the artist is involved with Otherbox.

AI output can be imperfect or surprising. Lyrics are generated, not reviewed by a person, and may now and then contain words you don't like. Use thumbs down to skip and steer away.

What you may do with the songs

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to stream songs in Otherbox for your own, non-commercial listening. You may not download, copy, record, sell, sublicense, upload to other services, or use the songs, lyrics or covers in your own videos, products or performances, and you may not claim to own them or present them as the work of a real artist. Songs made for your station may also play for other listeners, and we may keep or remove any song.

Fair use of the service

  • Each listener has a daily limit of new songs.
  • Don't try to get around limits, overload the service, scrape it, or reverse-engineer it.
  • Don't use station names or words to make hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or to imitate a real person.
  • Invites are personal. Don't sell or share them publicly.

We may limit, suspend or end access that breaks these rules.

Complaints and takedowns

If you believe a song or cover infringes your rights or is harmful, email support@sblocktechnologies.com with the station or song name. We will review it and remove the song from Otherbox if needed.

The service

Otherbox is provided "as is". It is new and may change, have errors or be unavailable at times, and songs may be removed. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Otherbox. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Your account and data

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, then Your data. The Otherbox Privacy Policy explains what we keep and how.
