Get help importing a book, reading in the feed, Readscroll Plus, or privacy.

Email support@sblocktechnologies.com. We will reply as soon as possible. In the app, Settings, then Contact us, starts the email with your app version.

Include your phone model, its operating system version, the Readscroll version (in Settings), and what happened. Please don't attach a book unless we ask: we can usually help from a description.

What Readscroll is

Readscroll turns EPUB and PDF books you already own into a feed you scroll like social posts, in the book's own words and order. Nothing is summarized or rewritten. It works offline, with no account, and your books stay on your phone.

Import a book

  1. In the library, tap the + (Import) button and pick an EPUB or PDF file from your phone's file picker.
  2. Wait for it to finish. A long book can take several seconds.
  3. Tap the book to start reading. Readscroll keeps your place, even if you close the app.

Books that can't be imported

  • Books with DRM (copy protection), such as most store-bought Kindle or Apple Books titles. Readscroll needs DRM-free files.
  • Scanned PDFs (photos of pages, not text), password-protected PDFs and fixed-layout EPUBs.
  • Files over 75 MB.

Tables, charts, equations and multi-column pages may not convert well. Use View Original File in the reader to see the page as printed. Settings, then Limitations, lists the rest.

Fix a problem

  • Passages too short or too long: change Passage density in Settings. You keep your place.
  • Text too small: Readscroll follows your phone's text size setting.
  • A book looks wrong: delete it from the library and import it again, then email us if it still looks wrong.
  • Moving to a new phone: books and progress are not synced. Import your books again on the new phone.

Readscroll Plus

Readscroll Plus is an optional one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play. For refunds, use Apple's or Google's refund process: we can't issue them ourselves. To get Plus back on a new phone, sign in with the same Apple or Google account and restore your purchase in the app.

Privacy

Read the Readscroll Privacy Policy. In short: no account, no analytics, no network requests, and your books stay on your device.
