Privacy Policy

Overview

S-Block Technologies LLC provides Echoes of History. This policy explains what the game collects and why. The game does not ask for your name, email address, or a password. It has no ads and no third-party analytics.

Your anonymous account

The first time you open the game, it creates a random account id and a secret key for it. The id is not your name, email address, phone number, or device identifier. The game uses it to keep a backup of your progress and to record what you have bought. You can see your account id on the Privacy screen, which opens from the title screen.

Information we collect

• Saved game. Your campaign progress, difficulty setting, Gold Leaf, and hall decorations are stored on your device, with a backup on our server under your account id.
• Game events. Simple records of play, such as when a session starts and ends, which battles you start and win, the number of turns, the rank, the difficulty, echoes earned, screens opened, and whether you play on Android, iOS, or the web. We use them to find battles that are too hard or too easy and to fix problems.
• Purchases. When you buy Pearls or the Chronicle, the game sends the product, the purchase token or transaction id, and the store to our server so we can check the purchase with Google Play or the App Store and add it to your account. We keep the transaction id so a purchase is never granted twice. Your balance of Pearls and the items you own are stored with your account.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising id, or payment card details.

Purchases

Google Play or the Apple App Store processes every payment under its own terms and privacy policy. S-Block Technologies does not receive your full payment card details. Purchases in Echoes of History are cosmetic or optional and do not affect battles.

How information is shared

We do not sell or share your information for advertising. Our server runs on Amazon Web Services, which stores and processes the information above on our behalf. Like any internet service, it receives your IP address to deliver requests; we do not store it. Purchase details are sent to Google or Apple to check a purchase.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect players, or to prevent fraud and abuse.

Retention and security

Your saved game, account, Pearls, and items stay on our server until you delete them. Game event records are deleted automatically after 180 days. Information is sent over encrypted connections. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Deleting your data

Open Echoes of History, tap Privacy on the title screen, then tap Delete my data and confirm. This deletes your account, the backup of your saved game, your Pearls, and your items from our server, and clears the game's data on your device. It cannot be undone. Game event records already made expire within 180 days. Purchase records kept by Google or Apple are subject to their policies.

If you can no longer open the game, email sblocktechnologies@gmail.com with your account id if you have it.

Children

Echoes of History is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
